Acadiana Waste Services (AWS) has been selected to take over solid waste and recycling collection services in the City of Lafayette and unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish beginning on November 1, 2023. R esidents who would like to order a second 95-gallon container to dispose of additional household garbage or (free) recycling cart  must order them by May 31, 2023 to have them delivered by the November start date.
