Description: The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants is a multilateral environmental agreement to protect human health and the environment from chemicals, known as POPs. POPs have harmful impacts on human health or on the environment. They remain intact in the environment for long periods, become widely distributed geographically and accumulate in the fatty tissue of humans and wildlife.
Twenty voices from all over the world share their experience and reflections about the last 20 years of adoption of the Stockholm Convention. The videos are in English with subtitles in English, French and Spanish. Three video clips have also been developed and are available in the six UN languages.
