When I launched our first event in 2013 I had no idea that it would become a firm favourite in the island’s Summer calendar, or that it would raise over £230k for Les Bourgs Hospice. Since then I have shared the concept with Jersey Hospice and The National Trust of Jersey and last year helped to launch a smaller 5 bays in 5 days event in the Bailiwick’s most Northern Isle to raise money for Alderney Cancer Relief and also the Alderney Wildlife Trust.
