So, we drove from Sydney, NSW to get some issues with the truck fixed at AAV4x4 in Brendale, Qld: they weren’t. Then, get Susan a new German passport . . . in Adelaide, SA: don’t ask. The most direct route actually took us through Victoria (briefly). Then a quick drive up through the red centre (NT) and back into WA to do the Kimberley. So, from Sydney to Kununurra took us through every state in Australia except the island of Tasmania!
We were too late in the season to do the Kimberley and the Bungles last time round due to the broken knee . . . So with another 6,311 additional kilometres on the clock, “Big Lap 2” (the second coming) started . . .
