The 68th Society was created in 1975 to keep alive the memory of the Durham Light Infantry, one of the most famous county regiments. We do this through our mission to intepret the regiment, and more generally the ordinary British soldier, from 1758 through to the Second World. The 68th is dedicated to the attaining highest levels of historical accuracy and intepretation. We work together to further this work through research, recreating high quality replicas and providing public display across the U.K and E
