Description: The principal mission of ACS Nigerian Chapter is to provide a platform for all ACS members in Nigeria to Communicate chemistry and chemical technology effectively.
The ACS Nigeria International Chemical Sciences Chapter was established on December 13th 2015. ACS Council voted, at the ACS National Meeting in Boston in August 2015, to approve the application. The application was ratified by the ACS Board of Directors on December 13th 2015 to operate under the provision of the ACS Bylaw IX (Constitution XIV).
The principal mission of the Chapter is to provide a platform for all ACS members in Nigeria to Communicate chemistry and chemical technology effectively among members and non members (the general public), Establish a strong and professional relationship with ACS Units, such as the ACS International office and other International Science Chapters and ACS Divisions, and Assist the Society in accomplishing its international strategic plans.
