The Acworth Public Safety Cadet program exists to further an Cadet’s academic education, encourage an Cadet’s participation in productive community service activities, and enhance an Cadet’s preparation for their future roles as citizens, community members, leaders and future law enforcement officers. The Cadet program also seeks to provide young men and women with a realistic introduction to the law enforcement career field and prepare them for a future in the field.
Benefits of Joining the Cadet Program
The program operates within a paramilitary framework, modeled after the structure of the Acworth Police Department. Within the Acworth Cadets, individuals hold ranks that align with those in the police force, providing a structured environment for growth.
