Adam Klein is an educator, novelist, singer/songwriter, and a recipient of the Academy of American Poets Award . From 2005-17 he was the lyricist and lead vocalist for the activist art rock project The Size Queens . Since 2014 he has served as an advisor to The Jerome Project. More recently he has published essays in Subtropics, Evergreen Review, Hobart , and Bright Lights Film Journal .
