We encourage you to enroll for direct deposit payments. If you don’t enroll to receive payments by direct deposit, you may receive future Aetna payments by virtual credit card. If you don’t want payments by virtual credit card, enroll to receive direct deposit payments.
ERA provides claim payment explanations in HIPAA-compliant files. You don’t need to enroll in ERA to get electronic EOBs. Enroll for ERA electronically through Payer Enrollment Services.
