About the Shelter Our Dog Shelter is located on the edge of the Poligono Industrial La Pedrera, Benissa, off the N332 between Teulada and Benissa.
Set backing onto the woodland, the shelter has both night kennels and day play areas for up to 60 dogs. The covered entrance courtyard has facilities for our volunteers and dog walkers. The upper courtyard houses the veterinary standard clinic, isolation pens for new arrivals and our separate puppy pens that can hold two different puppy litters.
There are three marked dog routes around the shelter leading through the surrounding countryside. They vary from a short 20-minute walk to a longer, more scenic 40-minute option.
