Arizona is a state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is the 6th largest and the 14th most populous of the 50 states. Its' capital and largest city is Phoenix. Arizona, the Grand Canyon state, achieved statehood on February 14, 1912, the last of the 48 coterminous United States to be admitted to the union.
Arizona is a haven for doing: golfing, hiking, and rafting, but it's also one of the best destinations for relaxing. Its' spas are world-renowned and offer treatments ranging from massages to facials. There are ski resorts in the areas of Flagstaff and Tucson.
