The 5K Alliance Race is sponsored by Municipal Alliance (A grant funded through the Governor’s Council).
Wharton Municipal Alliance is a grant funded through GCADA (Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse) which provides programs and events that are substance free. The Alliance provides programs to students and parents on topics like alcohol/drug awareness, bullying and cyber bullying, gangs, social media abuse, suicide prevention, parents who host and many other topics that families today may face.
