Amorgos Trail Challenge is a fun race organized by the “Palia Strata” Nature & Hiking Association of Amorgos, with the intention of introducing the beauties of the island to participating runners, while also introducing the beauty of trail running to the islanders. We have organized a weekend-long event, which includes four races – Spike, 7.5 km race, 19 km race, Loza Kids Race – and many other cultural, outdoor and culinary activities. Saturday 29/4 2023 – This “ Spike ” race is the first race of its type ever to take place in Greece. Runners taking part in this race will start their ascent at sea level and head for the highest peak of Nikouria island
Sunday 30/4 2023 – Runners participating in the Amorgos Trail Challenge races will have the opportunity to discover new landscapes, explore the island and face new challenges
