My name is Andrew Kobin, a mathematician and lover of learning. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Virginia, where I am also a teaching assistant in the Math Department. Previously, I earned my B.S. (\u201813, Mathematics and Spanish) as well as my M.A. (\u201815, Mathematics) at Wake Forest University.
Following completion of my degree, I will seek a post-doctoral position at a research university, with the intent of ultimately finding a tenure track position at a research university or institution.
In recent years, I have discovered a passion for teaching and communicating math that I have really been able to explore deeply at UVA. Ask me anything!
