Androidus Project Tank is a collective initiative aiming to perceive, collect and reclaim those constituent elements that shape and create the cultural identity and physiognomy of Crete island. As a scientific and cultural agent, our purpose is toplan and develop digital cultural experiences that will project the cultural heritage of Crete and the Cretans with the use of apps and conduct of thematic events. When we started in 2017, with the accomplishment of TEDxAnogia_Light your way up in 2015 the starting point of this initiative, we discovered our need to invest in the cultural heritage of our homeland. Subsequently, by organising and conducting collective thematic activities, scientific research and academic tourism, while researching and recording the cultural property of our island, we can say that we are a group of Cretan locals who goes against the tendency of our era and fights to highlight the cultur
Our headquarters are located at Anogia village, up to the grounds of mountain Psiloritis, where we started creating our social networks that cross the boundaries of the island. This initiative was a dream that came true by three locals, and now accounts a number of volunteers and academic associates, locally and globally.
