Description: AKOAKI is a Detroit-based architecture and design practice founded by Anya Sirota and Jean Louis Farges. Our work blends architecture, art, and media to produce social and surprising spaces. The projects question generic types and expectations, often siding with informalist ideals. We imagine design as a generative, cultural infrastructure concerned with the production of civic, non-restrictive environments.
