This website is related to an examination of the effect of seasonality on the economics and human activity in the Arctic. We will initially be focusing on transportation mechanisms in the Arctic, such as winter roads and ice roads. Our initial focus will be on the Yellowknife area of the Northwest Territories in Canada .
