Ark Recording Studio is one of the most well-equipped recording studios in Denmark for all types of music recordings. The studio is located in a 3800 square feet villa in a a quiet neighbourhood about 5 miles from the center of Copenhagen. Public transportation is only minutes away and we offer parking.
Studio 1 houses one of the most superior recording spaces in Scandinavia, offering extreme acoustics (must be experienced!). It is outstanding for drum recordings, but also excellent for choir and acoustic instruments. In addition, the studio houses two other live rooms (B & C), one with variable acoustics and a dry overdub booth, respectively.
The control room was custom designed by SLT’s Ole Lund Christensen and Brüel & Kjær to integrate the big active monitor system, Amspeakers 3500 Watt, in the control room. Center stage is the Solid State Logic console with its unique SSL sound and computer mixing, along with the extensive Protools. We offer a wide range of outboard equipment and microphones.
