Artesian Park RV Campground Your place for camping!
Artesian Park is full of history. The park opened in the early 1900s with a swimming pool and playground. The swimming pool was fed with an artesian water flow. It had a spin top in the deep end that was a big attraction. Rumor has it that the spin top is buried in the pool. People say the pool was drained every Sunday, cleaned every Monday, and was so cold that people could not swim until Thursday. There were bleachers outside the pool for bystanders to watch the swimmers.
