Dear Colleagues,
As the Local Organizing Committee, we are honored to extend an invitation to you for the 15 th General Assembly (GA) of the Asian Seismological Commission, which will take place in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 3 rd to 7 th , 2024. Our primary goal is to bring together esteemed scientists who have made significant contributions to seismology and earthquake-related studies, aiming to conduct a successful conference.
The doublet earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş (Türkiye) that occurred on February 6, 2023, resulted in extensive loss of life and property across a wide geographical area. Therefore hosting of the 15 th GA of ASC in Türkiye, where such destructive earthquakes have occurred, has great importance. The conference will provide a platform to share scientifically, and technically significant studies related to recent destructive earthquakes worldwide, including the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes.
