Adrian grew up and was educated in Switzerland. After graduating from Biel / Bienne Polytechnical College he joined the Swiss luxury watch industry, specialising in the development of the cutting and polishing techniques for sapphire watch cases. Adrian then travelled extensively throughout the world collecting artefacts and materials, whilst also studying local jewellery making, gemstones and lapidary techniques.
