Associated Fire Equipment is a family owned and operated small business. The company was founded in 1972 by Mr. Lewis Kurter. My wife and I came on board in 1988 and worked at the company for 10 years. We purchased the company in 1998 when Mr. Kurter retired. Our oldest son has worked with us for over 12 years and has now moved up to the manager position.
