Friends of Avondale Park
The Friends of Avondale Park, formed in 1988, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, maintenance, and full utilization of Avondale Park. The Park’s 37 acres form a dedicated Birmingham municipal park maintained by the Park & Recreations Department of the City of Birmingham.
The Friends of Avondale Park is an all-volunteer organization led by an 11-person board that cumulatively represents over 100-years of personal connections to the park.
