Welcome to Avorow German Shepherds. Avorow is a small kennel in the beautiful hills of Missouri. We are active in the sport of Schutzhund and compete with our dogs as members of GSDCA-WDA. Our dogs are family members, and as such, tend to stay mostly in the house with us. We do only a few carefully selected breedings each year and we retain dogs from our litters that will be our own future competition dogs.
All of our breeding animals are certified for hip and elbow dysplasia either through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or the German SV. We have added testing for DM to our list of requirements. They must all demonstrate that they are of good temperament, have a high degree of trainability and be in robust health.
