Award Winning Grapes
Grapes from Vernon County farms were used to make wine that won gold and silver awards in the 2013 American Wine Society (AWS) competition.
Fisher King Winery of Mount Horeb was awarded a gold medal and three silver medals at the AWS competition. Fisher King’s 2012 Marquette was awarded gold. The company’s Blue Rapture, Heat Wave Chardonnay, and Frontenac Reserve each received a silver medal. The competition was held Nov. 5-7 in Sandusky, Ohio. ...
