It was with great enthusiasm that on saturday, May 29th, we opened the first of many exhibitions to come, in our Casa Improvável gallery. With the photos of Marco as a starting point, we want everyone to understand what the Azores Atlantic Surfers is all about, how it started and, most importantly, that it only takes love and commitment to make dreams come true.
One of the best kept secret islands in the world, the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal, is an archipelago in the mid-Atlantic. The islands are characterized by beautiful landscapes, fishing villages, green pastures, happy cows and us. The Azores surfers.
We call home to São Miguel, aka "The Green island", known also for its volcanic scenery, flora, and rich marine life, including whales. The ones we share waves with. Welcome to Atlantic island life. Explore, enjoy and live, respecting this beautiful place we call home.
