Wild Rose (sleeps 5) and Owl Cottage (sleeps 6) are holiday cottages in the Scottish Borders, south of Jedburgh. Stay at a cottage for your chance to escape and experience rural life or bring your caravan or motorhome and stay at our CAMC CL site, where we have 5 hardstanding pitches.
Our organic farm, is 1100 acres. We have approximately 2000 wool shedding sheep and we also buy in cattle to fatten. We are nestled below the Cheviots with undulating countryside. There is plenty of wildlife that has made its home on the farm including buzzards, barn owls, lapwings, badgers, deer, foxes and so much more. Take a look around the farm on either duck, deer, squirrel or badger walk. Or venture to the hide or one of the many ponds.
Bairnkine offers a rural location to enjoy our beautiful countryside yet is only a few minutes’ drive from Jedburgh and only an hour’s drive from Edinburgh, Newcastle or Carlisle.
