I'm an artist. I write and produce music but I also do lots of other types of art. To me it's all the same. I've had a pretty diverse life in the arts, but most people know me for a project called Ming & Ping, which was my main project for over a decade. I serve on the board of directors for a nonprofit called The Slants Foundation, which supports arts and activism within the Asian American community.
These are the projects I'm actively working on at the moment: * My second solo album "Everywhere & Nowhere" is my best work yet, cant wait to share it! * A book called "Baoisms" that compiles some catchy ideas that I repeat often * A new live show that embraces the full conceptual and visual art that contributed to Ming & Ping's success (my previous music project) * A Youtube show and podcast called Coffee with BAO in which I chat with creative people about how their life and work inform each other
