A self-sufficient organic homestead started in 1974, with cattle, to supply ourselves with good food and clean energy. In 1986, we began making biodynamic preparations and using the biodynamic principles as our farming method. We ran a community-supported agriculture program from 1988-2022, and have offered internship opportunities since 1997.

The gardens grew bigger annually, as did our gatherings. A community farm with many long-term friendships is now run by me, 67; Phil, 65, the hired hand for 30 years; and Glenn, 84, who helps me with the tractors.
