Description: The Barnesville Pumpkin Festival is always held the last full weekend in September in Barnesville, Ohio, with free admission Thursday through Sunday. Activities abound with a variety of contests, crafts, art show, quilt show, talent show, musical entertainment, 5K Run/Walk Race and giant pumpkin parade on Saturday, Antique Car Show on Sunday, and lots of food.

The "King" Pumpkin in 2022 set the Pennsylvania state record when a grower from Harrison City, PA entered his 2,405-pound pumpkin which also holds the title of being the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival's largest ever pumpkin. A group of businessmen from St. Clairsville purchased the "King" for a whopping $13,000! You'll find lots of great food, contests, music, a giant parade and a car show that often has over 500 entries at the Festival.
