Description: Ready for adventure? Find the perfect British Columbia Rail Trail on the longest rail trail network in BC extending from Hope to Castlegar.
There was a landslide on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail near the junction with the Little White Forest Service Road, on the Myra Canyon to Chute Lake Lodge portion of the trail, in early May 2023. Ministry of Environment staff have completed emergency works at the location. The trail at this location remains closed to all users due to concerns for potential further landslides. Please proceed with caution on this portion of the trail and respect all signage.
Ministry engineers will re-assess the situation in late June 2023. A permanent repair is being planned but will not be completed before Fall of 2024.
You are invited to come ride the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail starting at the famous Myra Canyon, Kelowna to Penticton 80km. We have added a 40km option starting at Chute Lake Resort and a 20 km option starting at Glenfir.
