Our baby quilts and lap quilts are made using 100% cotton fabrics. These are true patchwork quilts, carefully cut, pieced, pressed and sewn by machine. The tied quilts are assembled with a thick polyester batting, while the machine-quilted ones are filled with a soft cotton batting. Beach Baby quilts are true patchwork quilts. We choose coordinated fabrics, cut them into pieces, then sew them back together in patchwork patterns. The fabrics are precision cut, exactingly pieced, carefully pressed and sewn by machine. A binding is then added around the edges. Finally, the quilts are either quilted on a sewing machine, hand quilted or hand-tied using coordinated embroidery floss or pearl cotton thread.
