Established 1999, Beaver Pines is a small family owned campground with large beautiful campsites surrounded by the Nipmuck State Forest. Located on Route 198, Woodstock CT.
Stayed here for 2 months, July, August. Campground is deep wooded but sites are clean and accessible. Owners are on site and ready to help with anything. plenty of trails to walk, ponds & lakes to fish and enjoy. Lots of permanent residents but all are friendly. We camped at Beaver Pines Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The park caters mostly to seasonal campers, who occupy about 90% of the sites. Most of the sites were well treed, and the park was very quiet and dark, making for a great sleep. The downside of the wooded sites were some very tricky corners, and backing in my 34' RV was a challenge. Once in, the site was big enough to stay. Nice.
