In September 2004 I reluctantly went to my first belly dance class, and received a very warm welcome by the local belly dance community. I have now performed publicly dozens of times, and I am really enjoying it! You can read and see all the details in my dance blog and pictures . Because belly dance is an uncommon activity for males in the US, I created this website to describe my adventures in the world of sequins and zills . I hope my story is useful to aspiring dancers and makes people more comfortable with male dancing. Please remember that much on this site is my personal opinion.
