We would like to thank you for your interest in our versatile German Shorthaired Pointers. Bentbridge Farm is a hobby farm located in Poplar Hill, Ontario. We have owned and raised upland game bird GSP hunting dogs since 1963.
The German Shorthair is a versatile sporting dog and our dogs excel at a variety of events whether it be hunt tests, field trials, dock dive jumping, skijoring, or simply being a terrific companion for camping and fishing trips.
Our goal is to breed only select candidates to produce dogs that have superior intelligence and are very biddable, making them easy to live with and train. Our original field breeding stock was imported from the United States from old fashioned gun dog lines and we have continued to build from there. Owners that choose to compete with their dogs in the field have been extremely successful both in Canada and the United States.
