Since COVID 19 hit incarcerated settings we saw high infection rates coupled with callous disregard by the government. Our members report a near complete shutdown of their facilities, including being isolated to their cells in solitary confinement-like conditions. Visitation, programming and education halted, and as a result, the mental health and wellness of our members has plummeted. Read more about our response to COVID-19
We are excited to launch our first leadership development program. This paid Fellowship is designed to prepare our members for careers in grassroots organizing, advocacy, and mutual aid. Applications will be accepted until April 1.
