The bar opened on Saturday 22nd and the restaurant opened on Wednesday 26th. We are now open every day serving drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Booking is advised for diners but your always welcome to walk in & if we have space we'll be happy to accommodate you. We don't reserve the tables in the bar, these are for drinkers and/or walk ins
Andy & Izzy from the Carpenters Arms in Wighton took over the Black Lion in July 2023. We're hoping to bring the hotel back to its former self, a bar that welcomes all and serves local ales, fantastic beers & wines & a great selection of spirits with a restaurant that serves hearty, fresh pub grub!
