I saved most of Desmond's newborn and baby clothes. Having a second child was never OFF the table, per se, until I declared my orientation. Even then, it might've been something we could "solve." Lots of table-related discussions were had as a baby Ace. What I thought was ACE-LITE.
Tim cleaned out his storage unit these last couple weeks, which means all my Xmas decor is in the linen closet and I had SIX BOXES of baby clothes to sort through. My attachment to them was not sentimental, it was... IS about aesthetic. Is that cruel and empty? Is my heart supposed to twinge at the thought of giving my kid a sibling?
