Have been letting my A.D.D. self run wild the past few weeks and have been bouncing between four books (ok, truth be told, I also found the time to pound through a fifth, sixth and seventh -- Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games” trilogy – fabulous, entertaining, and great mental floss).
The books, Alfred Chandler’s “The Visible Hand”, Alfred Sloan’s’ “My Life at General Motors”, Hagel/Brown/Davison’s “The Power of Pull”, and, Keith Richards’ “Life”. Each has its own merit individually but collectively they provide an interesting tableau.
Of the many random thoughts that leaped out during this process, three have come back a number of times for consideration, namely, and in no particular order…
