I am very honoured to have been elected Mayor of the City of Hobsons Bay, Melbourne for another term, and to have Councillor Diana Grima as Deputy Mayor. With the restrictions from the pandemic almost gone, it’s time to rebuild community and engage in events and programs in person. I’m looking forward to meeting with as many residents, community groups, businesses and schools as possible in the next 12 months.

I was first elected to the Hobsons Bay City Council in 2008, and even in my 4th term I’m as excited and motivated as ever to represent our community and work to make our community vibrant, welcoming, enjoyable, sustainable, diverse and connected. I encourage all residents, community groups, schools and business owners to get in touch with me via email if I can assist in any way, or even if you have ideas to make our city ever better than what it is.

My focus as a local representative on our council is on our community’s recovery after the difficult challenges of the pandemic – for our businesses, community groups, families, schools, elderly and disabled citizens, multicultural and faith communities, etc. We have so much to do to rebuild and support our community and I’m really keen to work with all my colleagues on the council to do that, and with the collaboration of our partners in the community.
