Description: Brookhaven Youth Ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) residential treatment center located near the community of West, in the heart of Central Texas. We serve up to 61 children from the ages of 13 to 17 who have been referred to us from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, The Texas Department of Health and individual counties with whom we have contracts.

Brookhaven Youth Ranch Board of Directors has chosen not to renew our contract with DFPS as of September 1, 2023. Due to the ever-increasing regulatory and clinical demands without equal resources being provided, the situation has become untenable.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have positively impacted the lives we have served over the past 37 years. While this is a difficult situation, we feel it is necessary given the current circumstances.
