Brook Hobbins produces work to commission, for exhibition and for sale. She is a Member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors and the sculpted portrait is at the heart of her practice. Currently, you can commission her to make a sculpted portrait from photographs. And when live sittings are possible, these can be arranged at your home or at Brook’s studio on the East Kent coast.
Brook welcomes enquiries for contemporary, historic and posthumous portraits, as well other private or public sculpture commissions. There is the opportunity to buy your own contemporary bronze sculpture, and limited editions of work featured on this website are for sale – view here.
Ideally a portrait sculpture is created from life. During the first sitting I discuss options for the form and character of the piece with the sitter — or we may simply agree to get started and see what happens.
