Description: Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association Local 2863 was established in 1981 and is the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all the non-exempt employees of the Brownwood Fire Department. We are currently at 99% membership. We are affiliates of the Texas State Association of Firefighters and the International Association of Firefighters who give us a voice at the State and National level.
