Batam Social Golf Society – BSGS is a group of people who love the game of golf. Based in Batam, Indonesia the group hosts golf tournaments on the last Sunday of each month at one of the 7 beautiful golf courses on Batam Island. Players of all abilities are encouraged to join. The committee recognises that the health and wellbeing of all BSGS members, their family and friends are paramount, as such we all need to be “socially responsible” whilst the current Covid pandemic continues.
With ongoing member participation, support and consensus, we have continued to hold our monthly events and more recently returning to shotgun starts. To facilitate a safer environment by obverting potentially overcrowded reception areas and locker rooms etc, the committee encourages players to arrive, register and prepare for their tee-off a little earlier than they normally would, whilst we are in this current globally effected climate.
