I am a 'luminal' gastroenterologist - meaning that I specialise in the diseases of 'hollow organs' from mouth to anus (bottom). This includes a range of symptoms ranging from heartburn and dyspepsia, to abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, constipation and diarrhoea. My practice involves conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux, coeliac disease, food intolerances and allergies, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel diseases.
