The 2023 Canada Cup International Softball Championship is being held from July 7 – 16 at Softball City, Cloverdale Athletic Park, and Sunnyside Park in Surrey, BC.
The Canada Cup is expressing its heartfelt thanks to the many donors whose generous support means they have met a fundraising goal that will allow the Ukrainian Women’s Junior National Softball team to compete in the 2023 Canada Cup in Surrey, British Columbia. The City of Surrey, more than 500 individual donations, and an amazing show of support from the BC business community have combined to reach the fundraising target of $60,000 in just over a week!
The Canadian Amateur Sport Society (CASS) have partnered with the BC Amateur Sport Fund to raise funds to benefit its Softball Youth Softball Development Project with the aim of providing opportunities for under represented youth to participate in Softball and to draw new players to the game. Special focus will be given to youth in Indigenous communities.
