CCAF saves lives, helps people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, and prevents new infections thanks to the generous support from its sponsors.
Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995 to support HIV/AIDS services in the Sacramento area. CCAF operates two important programs: Helen Veress-Mitchell Scholarship Fund and the CCAF Prevention and Education Program.
CCAF has raised and donated over $3 million for Sacramento area HIV/AIDS services. Since its inception, CCAF has successfully staged many events including the Capital City AIDS Dance-O-Rama, the Boo Bash, the Sacramento Valley AIDS Run Walk, and the high profile event Smash Hits with Elton John and Billie Jean King which raised over $500,000.
