Since opening in 2003, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in Decatur, Alabama, has provided educational and cultural opportunities to the community. Through our programs, collections, and events, we encourage a greater involvement in art at all levels and ages. We want our visitors and students to enjoy the visual art they view here at the Carnegie, and to leave with new and innovative knowledge they can share with the community.
We encourage annual membership from patrons. Find out more about membership and how to get involved with the Carnegie.
Carnegie Carnival is North Alabama’s largest Mardi Gras celebration and the marquee fund-raising project for the Carnegie. Join us in February and “Laissez les bon temps rouller!”
