Currently, my research is partially supported by a Fulbright Scholar Award (2023 & 2024 ) to Peru and an Early Career Research grant from the Leading House for the Latin America region through the University of St. Gallen .
I received my doctorate in Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and my BA in Linguistics from the University of California – Santa Cruz . At the moment, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Comparative Language Science the University of Zurich .
