California Youth Sports Advocates was formed in December 2020 by a group of Southern California parents to advocate for children and youth sports activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have seen firsthand how sports enrich young lives. Youth sports are essential. Unfortunately, while government officials have gone to great lengths to accommodate corporate special interests during the pandemic, they have turned a blind eye to our kids and their physical and mental health needs. Individual groups and leagues have worked hard to get some activities open but many sports remain closed because of arbitrary and unnecessary government orders.
